What Motion does better
Motion is a wider product. Pro AI includes projects, docs, a meeting assistant and apps for iOS, Android and desktop. Business AI adds team capacity, timelines and shared reporting. If you need a project suite for several people, Motion is built for that and Deflective is not. Deflective is a personal plan: one list, your calendar, and the hours you actually have.
What you are paying for here
Deflective finds a do date around work, evenings and weekends, then puts Now in front of you. It drafts the week. You approve it. Nothing reshuffles in the background. After seven days you can stay on Free, or keep Plus for £6 a month. See pricing for what each tier includes, or download the iPhone app. Android is coming soon, and the browser works today.
When to stay with Motion
Stay if your team already lives in Motion’s projects and docs, or if you want Android today. Switch the comparison to Deflective if the job is a realistic week for one person and the $49 month-to-month plan is the part you are trying to leave.
